Poppy Seed Bread
3 cups flour
2 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/3 cups vegetable oil
2 tablespoon poppy seeds
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons almond extract
Mix all ingredients in mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Flour and grease 2 baking pans. Fill each pan evenly. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool 5 minutes. Remove bread from pans onto wire racks. Pour the following glaze over each loaf.
Glaze
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
