warm with sugar

With cooler weather, thoughts of my mom's homemade donuts come to mind.  Many times she would save left-over mashed potatoes to use in her homemade cake delicacies.  Oh how I miss Mom for so many reasons!  She was an amazing cook and I learned so much from her.  My love for cooking is a result of the time she took to take me to 4-H meetings and making me a part of her kitchen.  I don't have her homemade donut recipe.
